Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
The short version: you choose who sees your pitch videos and documents, creators can see who opened their files, investors and creators never see each other’s email addresses, video effects happen on your own device, and we never sell your information.
1. Who we are
SeedSpark (“SeedSpark”, “we”, “us”) is operated by Dygytal LLC from 7986 Sandel Wood Cir W, Ft. Myers, FL 33908. We run a website where accredited investors post Pitch Calls and founders (“creators”) answer them in a single 3-minute video, share an Elevator Pitch and pitch documents, and message each other.
This policy explains what information we collect, why, who can see it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and the emails we send.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, password, and whether you are an investor or a creator. Creators also give their company or project name and website. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email address from them.
- Investor profile and verification: your firm, investor type, phone number and website or LinkedIn, your verification status (pending, verified or suspended), and when and by whom it was reviewed.
- The accredited-investor attestation record: the exact text you confirmed, its version number, the time, and the IP address you confirmed it from.
- Pitch Calls (investors): titles, descriptions, what you invest in, questions, must-have requirements, deadlines and the email address that should receive new-pitch alerts.
- Pitches (creators): your answers to an investor’s must-haves, your recorded video (including your image and voice), and the documents you choose to attach.
- Elevator Pitch (creators): your video, the one-line pitch, location and tags you add, who can watch it (private, verified investors only, or public link), the time you accepted the public-link notice if you chose a public link, and how many times your page was opened.
- Pitch documents (creators): the files you upload, their names, labels and who can open each one; investors’ requests for access and your answers; and the access log of which investor opened or downloaded which file, and when.
- Invitations and messages: invitations investors send to creators, the text of messages, any photos or files attached, Pitch documents shared in a message, and when messages were sent and read.
- Reports: what you tell us when you report a page or a conversation.
- Billing: your trial dates, balance, top-ups (amount and date), monthly charges, whether your subscription is paused, and any refunds. Your card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page and go to Stripe, not to us; we receive only a record of the payment.
- Messages to us: anything you send us when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Sign-in cookies that keep you logged in (see Cookies).
- Technical information our service providers record when you use the site, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. We use it to run, secure and fix the service.
- Page-view statistics from Vercel Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
- Pitch activity, such as when a pitch was started or submitted and how many recording attempts were used, so we can apply each Pitch Call’s rules.
We do not use advertising trackers.
3. Your video, camera and microphone
- We only turn on your camera and microphone when you are on a recording page and your browser has asked for your permission. You can withdraw that permission in your browser at any time.
- Each recording is limited to 3-minute. For a pitch, only the take you submit is shared with that investor; takes you don’t submit, and pitches you never send, are not shown to anyone.
- Background effects run on your own device. If you choose a background or blur, your browser separates you from your surroundings locally as you record. This does not create a facial-recognition template or any other biometric identifier, and nothing from this process is sent to us other than the finished video.
- We do not use artificial intelligence or automated tools to analyze, score or rank your video, your face or your voice.
4. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and keep it secure.
- To review investor accounts and keep the attestation record.
- To publish Pitch Calls, deliver pitches to the investor they were sent to, show Elevator Pitches and documents to the people you allow, and keep your access log.
- To deliver invitations and messages, and email you about them.
- To send service emails, such as account confirmation, password resets, pitch receipts, new-pitch alerts, access requests and billing notices.
- To run your trial and subscription, take monthly fees from your balance, and process top-ups and refunds.
- To enforce each Pitch Call’s rules and our Terms of Service, investigate reports, and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To troubleshoot and improve the service, and to comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.
7. How long we keep information
We keep account information while your account is open. We keep Pitch Calls, pitches, videos, documents and messages for as long as needed to provide the service to the people involved, or until you delete them or ask us to.
When you delete something or close your account, we delete it from our active systems within 30 days, except where we must keep something to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes or prevent abuse. For example, we keep the attestation record and payment, refund and billing records for as long as the law requires. Copies others have already downloaded are outside our control.
8. Security
Information is encrypted in transit. Videos and documents are stored in private storage that is not publicly accessible. Each time someone with permission watches a video or opens a document, we create a link that expires after 15 minutes. Database rules limit each account to what it is allowed to see. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you as required by law.
9. Your choices and rights
- Control what you share: change who can watch your Elevator Pitch, change or delete Pitch documents, approve or remove an investor’s access, and delete your Elevator Pitch video, at any time.
- Access and correct: you can ask us for a copy of your information or to correct it. You can edit your profile and Pitch Calls at any time.
- Delete: you can ask us to delete your account, a pitch, a video or a document.
- Emails: investors can change or turn off new-pitch alerts in each Pitch Call’s settings. Message emails are sent at most once every 15 minutes while a conversation is unread. Service and billing emails you need to use your account can’t be turned off.
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. To make a request, email dygytalinfo@gmail.com. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the time required by law. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
10. Children
SeedSpark is only for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States and store and process information in the United States. If you use the service from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and if the changes are significant we will tell you by email or on the site before they take effect.
